Get Started with Ongo Fuel
To use Ongo Fuel Solution, follow these steps.

  • Download the Ongo App
  • Complete the registration and KYC process
  • Add & Tag Vehicles
    • Open the Ongo App, go to “My Vehicle”
    • Select Add Vehicle & enter details
    • Select Tag Vehicle
    • To tag scan/enter the code on the back of the Ongo Sticker
  • Paste the sticker on the interior of the vehicle’s windshield
  • Add money to the Ongo wallet using Credit card, Debit card or Net banking & UPI option.
  • Select the Vehicle and Preset the fuelling amount on the Ongo app from anywhere
  • Drive to the nearest Ongo fuel station and experience contactless fuelling at participating fuel outlets.

How does Ongo Fuel work?

• Ongo Fuel is based on an RFID-based platform that recognises users via the Ongo Fuel RFID sticker and ensures the right fuel grade and quantity of fuel is dispensed to the correct vehicle. Ongo fuel stickers are issued to the registered consumers of Ongo. This sticker must be displayed on the interior of the windshield.
• The registered consumer needs to download the Ongo mobile application from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Once downloaded, the user needs to register the vehicle by entering personal & vehicle details into the mobile application. The fuel sticker is then linked to the individual’s account created on the mobile application. The data is securely encoded with relevant vehicle data that was fed into the mobile application for each vehicle.
• The user needs to top-up the Ongo wallet from the app and visit the nearest participating fuel pump to fuel up. Before dispensing the fuel, the pump attendant scans the Ongo fuel sticker.
• The system automatically identifies the vehicle, and the right kind and quantity of fuel is dispensed into the vehicle. Once the fuelling is complete, the money is automatically deducted from the Ongo wallet.

How can I get the Ongo Fuel Sticker?

For Individual Users to enrol and get the Ongo Fuel Sticker, you can –
• Download the Ongo app from the Play Store or App Store, and complete basic registration formalities including KYC. After adding your vehicle, you can go to ‘Tag vehicle’ and ‘Request Tag’. The Ongo Fuel Sticker (RFID Sticker) will be couriered to you within 3 working days.
• ‘Tag Vehicle’ in the app by scanning the barcode or entering the unique code on the sticker.
• Paste the Ongo fuel sticker on the vehicle windshield from the inside and enjoy convenient fuelling.
For Fleet owners to enrol and get the Ongo Fuel Sticker, you can –

• Visit the nearest HPCL fuel pump and our executive will assist you to register onsite.

Is it safe to use Ongo for fuelling?

All fuelling transactions are secured with encryption at every stage with the highest level of implemented network security. The fuel sticker is a tamper-proof technology that self-destructs upon tampering. Hence, Ongo is a completely safe, foolproof method of fuelling.

What if I forget my Ongo app password?

Follow the following steps:
• Click on ‘Forgot Password’
• Enter mobile number and Submit
• OTP will be sent to your mobile number.
• Enter the OTP and reset your password.

What is the maximum amount that can be loaded (topped up) on the Ongo app?

There is no maximum limit to loading (topping up) the Ongo mobile app.

How can I add money to my Ongo wallet?

Please follow the following steps to add money to your Ongo wallet –
• Open the Ongo mobile application
• Click on the ‘Topup’ button on the Ongo mobile application and enter the amount to be added
• Select any of the ‘Payment Methods’ to add money to the Ongo wallet
• Money will be added upon a successful transaction
• Alternatively, you can also add money using RTGS/ NEFT & IMPS using a Virtual Account. To view your virtual account details, click on “Topup” and then ‘Virtual Account’ at the bottom of the page

Will my money be refunded if my transactions are unsuccessful due to any reason?

The solution is such that you are debited only after the fuelling is complete. Hence it is different from traditional debit & credit cards. In the extreme event of any issue, please email us at help@ongo.co.in or call the toll-free number 1800 267 6646 between 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, Monday to Saturday (excluding Sundays & Government holidays).

What can I do when the money is deducted from my account but does not reflect on my Ongo mobile app?

Please check with your bank if the transaction was successful and wait for a few minutes for the amount to reflect in your wallet. In case the transaction is unsuccessful, the money will be credited back into your bank account.

Where else can I use the money loaded on my Ongo app?

You can use the Ongo app/ Ongo Card to make non-fuelling purchases at any RuPay acceptance point.

What if my mobile phone gets lost/stolen? Can the Ongo mobile application be accessed by someone else?

You don’t have to worry at all. No one can access your Ongo mobile application without entering the password/MPIN. Further, only the vehicle fitted with the Ongo fuel sticker assigned to your account can accept payments and fuelling, hence, no one will be able to access the wallet to fuel other vehicles.
However, for security reasons inform us immediately by emailing us at help@ongo.co.in or calling our customer care toll-free number – 1800 267 6646. Your Ongo wallet will be blocked immediately.

What do I do if my Ongo Fuel sticker is physically damaged?

Can I use my Ongo fuel sticker on any other vehicle?

The Fuel Sticker cannot be removed from the tagged vehicle for use on any other vehicle. The fuel stickers are tamper-proof. The fuel stickers will self-destruct on any attempt to remove it from the vehicle.

What happens if I sell my vehicle?

Please contact us at help@ongo.co.in or call the customer care toll-free number – 1800 267 7746. The Vehicle tag will be deactivated.

What should I do if my RFID tag is not responding?
